Democracy - Training World Leaders
|
Project Parity is a not-for-profit company limited
by guarantee. Established in 1996, it is an NGO (Non Governmental
Organisation) working
to increase the percentage of women in local, national and international
politics and public decision-making positions. It's work is
focussed on emerging democracies. So far Project Parity has
worked in 13 countries.
We believe far
more women in senior political and public office will achieve progress
with stability, bringing in the perceptions, knowledge, intelligence,
experience, judgment and outlook of 51% of the world's population.
We have a wide
variety of experts who work for us. We hand pick teams for each
project so that we use the most appropriate personnel. Our experts
and trainers range former Cabinet
Ministers to Media experts to grass-roots campaigners.
